What is this? LV Rocks is a place to hear live and archived original audio entertainment originating from Las Vegas, Nevada.
Oh, it's radio? No. We are not "of, relating to, or operated by radiant energy".
How do I listen? If you see the words "listen" or "play", click on it. Your computer
should have some form of audio player that will open when you click on those links. However, if your computer is older, you may need to download
and install one. We recommend [Winamp] with the [MP3pro plug-in].
If you already have an audio player installed, and it's still
not working when you click the "listen" or "play" links, then your browser may not be set up to recognize what it is
suppose to be doing. In which case, the easiest fix is to re-install
an audio player. The installation process will update your browser
and tell it to use the correct audio player when you click on 'listen' or 'play'.
Sound Cutting Out Regularly? Some have told us that the
sound cuts out on them regularly while trying to listen to LV Rocks.
Unless we are having unforeseen technical difficulties on our end, (which
happens from time to time), then the problem is probably that you are a dial-up user.
All we can suggest is that you really consider getting a high speed cable or DSL account.
Not just for LV Rocks either! Your entire internet experience improves
dramatically with high speed internet access.
Problems Chatting? The chat room on LVRocks.com is a Java application. If it's not loading, maybe try updating your Java. If you are logging in and it keeps kicking you out, that's probably because you are using a nickname registered by someone else. Try a different nickname. You can also access the chat room using an IRC client. (IRC server: irc.mibbit.net channel: #lvrocks)
Other Problems? Not sure what other problems people are having
out there, but it's probably not our fault. You might be missing something very simple that we haven't covered here. Hopefully you aren't dumb enough to miss checking that your speakers are on and volume is up.
