| Something not working? Scroll through this page and see
if you can find your problem. Hopefully the answer is here for you.
If it's not, then quite frankly, we've got no clue what's wrong with your
fucked up computer. (unless your on AOL, then that is the problem)
Not Getting Sound? To hear the LV Rocks 'Noise', you must
have an audio player installed on your computer. Newer computers
should have some form of audio player that will work with the LV Rocks
format. However, if your computer is older, you may need to download
and install one. We recommend Winamp with the MP3pro plug-in.
The MP3pro format literally sounds twice as good. If you don't have the MP3pro
plug in, it will still work, just won't sound as good.
If you already have an audio player installed, and it's still
not working, then your browser may not be set up to recognize what it is
suppose to be doing. In which case, the easiest fix is to re-install
an audio player. The installation process will update your browser
and tell it to use the correct audio player when you 'click to listen'.
Sound Cutting Out Regularly? Some have told us that the
sound cuts out on them regularly while trying to listen to LV Rocks.
Unless we are having unforeseen technical difficulties on our end, (which
happens from time to time), then the problem is probably that you are a dial-up user.
All we can suggest is that you really consider getting a high speed cable or DSL account.
Not just for LV Rocks either! Your entire internet experience improves
dramatically with high speed internet access.
Problems Chatting? During live LV Rocks web casts we encourage
everyone to come into the chat room to participate and chat with other
listeners. We haven't had too many problems with people not being able to get into chat since
we switched to the flash chat server. If you are having problems, you can try to download the
latest version of flash player. Another possibility is that the chat just won't work with
older browsers. Be sure you have the newest version updates for your browser.
Other Problems? Not sure what other problems people are having
out there, but it's probably an AOL thing. Either that, or you're
missing something very simple. We won't insult you by telling you
to check your volume control though.
